Following the announcement of their new stamp prices from Monday March 23rd 2020, Royal Mail have released the latest franking rates, with fantastic savings rising up to 34% for Mailmark machines.
At only 43p for 2nd Class postage, you can now save 22p on every letter sent using Mailmark franking, compared to the new 2020/21 stamp cost of 65p. This reduced 2p rise extends the saving over Standard Franking to 7p, as the non-Mailmark rate rises 3p to 50p, still below the 4p added to stamps.
1st Class Mailmark franking now delivers a saving of 11p on every standard letter, at 65p against 76p, saving users 57% more than the 7p avaialbe via Standard franking at 69p. The difference rises to 100% extra at 14p for large letters up to 100g, with Mailmark at £1.01 compared to £1.08 for Standard franking and £1.15 for stamps. Savings rise to more than double that for letters to 500g, at 31p on 1st Class stamps, and 40p on 2nd Class.
With the Royal Mail guarantee that Mailmark franking is always at the cheapest available tariff, along with the benefits of the exclusive Pre-Pay Reply service to encourage customer response, it really is the simplest way to make the most of your postage by saving your business money.
