A study found that 9 out of 10 people open their direct mail, compared to just 22% UK SME email marketing open rate. 79% of consumers say that they react to direct mail immediately, and 72% of consumers who recieved direct mail made a purchase online. Out of those who were surveyed, 32% would prefer to be contacted through direct mail in 2014, compared to other marketing channels.
