If your franking machine has ran out of credit, it’s quick and easy to add funds and top up your machine with postage credit.
Credit is topped up by downloading funds on to the franking machine via phone/fax line or network, and you can do this at any time and as often as you need to. You just need to pay for the postage credit using debit, cheque, BACS or credit card.
Refilling is easy, but exactly how you top up will depend on the manufacturer and model of your franking machine.
Pitney Bowes Franking Machines
If you have a Pitney Bowes franking machine, such as the IRIS Connect, then the following steps are recommended:
– Plug your franking machine into an analogue phone line
– Select ‘Add postage’ (or similiar, depending on your model, e.g. ‘Postage refill’)
– Follow on screen instructions and enter the desired refill amount.
If your franking machine does not have a direct modem connection, you will need to call Pitney Bowes with your account number, meter number, postage readings and the desired refill amount.
FP Franking Machines
If you have an FP franking machine, such as the EOS Centormail, then you will likely use Teleset credit loading, a secure postage payment method by FP.
Funds are loaded on to your Teleset account and then downloaded on to the FP franking machine.
