Dr Kershaw’s Hospice provides free, specialist, end-of-life and palliative care for adults with life-limiting illnesses in Oldham and its surrounding areas in a peaceful and homely environment. The care and attention they provide their patients with is second to none and we are glad to be able to continue to support them through the delivery of two iPads which will allow the medical team to prescribe medications more efficiently. The pads will also help the team save paper, as well as time as the hospice grows and provides care to more people through its recently opened state-of-the-art Inpatient Unit (IPU).

On 22nd March two team members, Tom & Luke, visited Dr. Kershaw’s to hand over the iPads to the medical director of the hospice, Dr. Hohmann. As always, our staff were warmly welcomed by the team, and Tom & Luke had a chance to see first-hand the brilliant work carried out by all the clinical staff. The team also showed us how the Dyson Air Cool Fans we were able to support with last year have benefited their efforts.
